Accessible and Affordable Healthcare is a passionate mission of Health Matters.

Education & Outreach

At Health Matters we want to see every person insured. To do this we provide education to individuals and organizations about insurance providers, including Medicaid and Medicare. Assisting people in locating and selecting a plan that fits their health and their budget. We also partner with community health care providers, to provide no-cost, or low-cost, clinics for the under and uninsured. Just as important as selecting your insurance provider for your family, is selecting which provider to offer as an employer. With our Employer's Health Insurance program, we help your business find the right provider, for you and your employees. It is our goal to help everyone become insured, so they never have to weigh their health against their money. 

Community Development

In 2017 10.4% of people in Maricopa County were without health insurance (Maricopa County, AZ 2020). Health matters partners with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) to work with local authorities in addressing their uninsured populations as well as implementation of preventative programs for chronic conditions. We are active in policy health care policy reform, at all levels of the government.
